"Taia...sells the cutest, loveliest and sweetest hair clips you can think off...although I'm not an experienced mom when it comes to little girls and their hair, I did hear from insiders that these clips not match perfectly with many girls clothes, they actually fit because of a tiny small strip of velcro that makes sure the clip won't even fall out of the finest baby hair...Jen Pezzolla is the founder and still makes all the clips herself with much care and attention.  June 8, 2008 -  Mommies with style

"Mia’s hair is constantly falling in her face. I am always in need of a hair clip. I love Taia hair clips. Most importantly, they go in easy. I can get them in while Mia is squirming and screaming and running away. Secondly, they stay in. They have this little strip of Velcro that helps them stay put while Mia does her best to knock them loose. Many hair clips do not go the distance with Mia. I loose them everywhere. Okay, and really most importantly, Taia hair clips are beautifully designed. They are stylish and sweet and modern and fun. Made with grosgrain or satin ribbon and swavorski stones. Perfect for those days when I am just not feeling the super cutesy or overly frilly. "

 May 7, 2008 -  baby style watch

"Baby Style Watch is very selective when it comes to children's hair accessories. Of course they need to coordinate with today's modern fashions...but even more importantly they must stay in! We think we just might have found the perfect solution in Taia Hair Clips.
These funky and fun clips were created by Jen Pezzolla, a makeup artist and stay at home mom of two children. Jen was inspired to tame her little one's crazy mohawk with something girly and chic {yet modern and simple}. Everything she shopped for was either too frilly or too cutesy - so she decided to make her own.
Each hair clip is handmade using either premium grosgrain or satin ribbon, swarovski stones and has a small strip of velcro to ensure it won't slip out of even the finest baby hair. They have been mom-tested and truly stay in all day without any irritation or problems.
With so many great colors and styles available - it's hard to choose just one! From Stripes and Argyles to Paisleys and Polka Dots - there is truly something for every taste. There's even a "couture" line for more dressier occasions. Be sure to check out the new Taia Hair Clip Trios - now available online at select boutiques. "

May 6, 2008 -  whats hot for tots

"Have you been experiencing another day of “hair gone wild” with your little sweetie? Well, Taia Hair Clips can help tame that wild side, or at least offer some style assistance for your baby or child.
Jennifer Pezzolla, once a make- up artist, is now a stay- at- home mom who found a way to offer her creativity to those in this need. Hoping to stay away from frills, she designs modern hairclips that remain girly and chic, yet functional. Each clip is backed by velcro lining and has been tested and proved to be effective for even the finest of baby’s hair.
I know this from experience. My sister’s youngest has “crazy hair”, as we like to call it, on most days (especially on rainy days). These clips are the only clips to date that can keep her hair under control. They do not irritate her as some clips, elastics, and headbands can do, and she never tries to take them out or reposition them, even after running around and playing all day. It is like she doesn’t even know they are there. But we do…they look so pretty!
When you visit Taia Hair Clips you can shop for big or little clips, and you have the choice of a variety of colors and patterns. Taia clips come in several fun patterns; some are specially made for holidays and others include argyle, stripes, flowers, and dots. I love the clips that have a swarovski stone in the middle. Jen is so talented.
Other clip selections include the couture clips, which are crafted with satin ribbon, and collection clips, made from grosgrain ribbon. When you shop at Taia Hair Clips you will find the site easy to navigate and you will be amazed by the array of unique, beautifully designed hair clips.
Purchase a trio of clips, that includes three Taia Hair Clips which come packaged in a colorful box with a decorative bow. What great gift items for babies as well as girls of any age. In fact, I know of some of my adult friends who could definitely wear these fashionable clips to match their little sweethearts! After all, Taia Hair Clips are not too “cutesy”, but are made for the modern, girly- girl that lives in all of us. "

 May 2, 2008 -  kentucky rain

 April 14, 2008 -  petite elefant

"P is notoriously picky about her hair. She stopped letting me style her hair when she was 2 years-old and still hasn't let me back in her hair "circle of trust". We've gone through some awkward stages {the unicorn ponytail swaying down into the middle of her forehead was a particularly interesting time} but as she's gotten older her hair styling has gotten better and better. P recently tried these big girl hair clips from taia and has fallen in love with them. She has worn them to school every day since we received them and has drawn nothing but compliments from everyone around her. All of the adorable hair clips from taia are hand made, and it shows. They are high quality, carefully constructed hair clips with only the cutest fabrics; and the Velcro ensures that they won't fly out of your daughter's hair while she's playing soccer {I know, we've tried}.
It is very important to Jen that each hair clip is handmade by herself {with lots of love}. Functionality proves as paramount as style does - with a velcro lining insuring that they won't slip out of even the finest baby hair. They have been tested on baby Taia and stay in all day without any irritation or problems. They are for babies as well as girls of any age - so please enjoy them as much as Taia does..."

"It is really such a blessing that I had a little girl, if only because I get to share all her hair accessories. I love all the clips from Taia Hair Clips, but most especially the chunkier style ones (as pictured here) b/c they look great in my own curly locks! Created by a makeup artist and now stay at home mom of two, Taia Hair Clips are handmade with a Velcro lining that ensures that they won't slip out of even the finest baby hair. With over 74 clips in the collection you are sure to find one you love."

 March 26, 2008 -  the opinionated parent

"Searching the internet for the perfect hair clips is becoming a weekly activity for me. There are just so many awesome and talented moms out there making fabulous accessories.
Reader recommended Taia Hairclips are no exception. Par.entrepreneur Jen Pezzolla creates velcro lined (brilliant!) alligator clips that stay comfortably in even the finest baby hair yet are suitable for babies and girls of all ages. She has recently launched her Spring Collection of 16 new clips and they’re just as fab as the not so new clips of yesteryear. Each clip is lovingly hand made by Jen herself and the quality is evident as soon as you see them in person.
Taia clips range from $7 - $9 in price and though they look great online, they’ll look completely awesome on your daughter."

 March 19, 2008 -  molly's favorite things

"I get a wee bit jealous when shopping for my little guys. My eyes always wonder over to the girl side and a sigh always escapes my lips. I don't spend too much time wishing because I really do have two of the most handsome boys ever. But if I ever was to be blessed with a lovely little girl I know I would want her style to be simple + clean + modern. I am not a fan of frilly over sized bows or lots of glittery sparkles. Less is always more when it comes to style and that is precisely why, if I had a girl, I would be pinning her hair back with these dainty clips.
Meet Jen Pezzolla, mom extraordinaire and creator of taia hair clips. Like all moms, I am constantly striving to find the best there is out there when it comes to my children's style but sometimes that proves hard to accomplish. Jen was definitely feeling that frustration when trying to come up with a solution to tame her little girl's "crazy mohawk", one that would be girly and simple all at the same time. Dissatisfied with her options, she decided to funnel her creative energy and create her own.
It is very important to Jen that each hair clip is handmade by herself {with lots of love}. Functionality proves as paramount as style does - with a velcro lining insuring that they won't slip out of even the finest baby hair. They have been tested on baby Taia and stay in all day without any irritation or problems.
Jen was so sweet and sent me a few of the lovelies to try out. Don't worry I did not clip them into my boys hair. I used taia hair clips to pin back my own hair and I must say I was truly impressed. They didn't tug or pull or snag. The clip even stayed in place without having to readjust it. The fabrics are modern and chic and a few styles even boast a little bling, to satisfy the sparkle in all of us."

"I love Taia Hair Clips. Really, really love Taia Hair Clips. They are just so simple and contemporary, yet absolutely darling and perfectly girly in your little one's hair. And because they are so well made and include a tiny piece of velcro, they actually do stay in hair like they are supposed to.
The New Spring Collection is just delightful. The colors are bright and playful and I am finding myself choosing summer clothes based on the clips rather than the other way around! This clip (bean 02) is probably one of my very favorites, but the bambi 20 is a close second. "

 February 14, 2008 -  mom's favorite stuff

"My little girl just loves any sort of accessory for her hair. When she opened the beautifully packaged hair clips from Taia Hair clips, she was so excited to try them out immediately! While I just quickly put them in her hair, I’m pleased to say with even my minimal effort, they stayed in for the day.
Taia Hair clips are available in a variety of sizes and patterns. The big clips are made from either 5/8” or 7/8” ribbon, while the smaller clips are made from 3/8” ribbon. Both sizes worked really well for my 3 year old daughter who has lots of hair. They are lined with a bit of velcro, so they stay in even the finest of hair and they are also very stylish and adorable.
All of the patterns available are really modern and beautiful. Each clip is covered with a hip ribbon, and some even have a second ribbon or a sparkly stone embellishment. My daughter especially loved one particular clip with a nice shiny stone in the center. The available patterns include argyle, dots, blocks, flowers, plain, or stripes, so you are likely to find something that matches your daughter’s style and wardrobe. "

We can’t resist the adorable, plaid grosgrain ribbon style, adorned with a swarovski crystal, adding just the right touch of sass!
The story behind Taia Hair Clips is also rather adorable. Designed by a make-up artist and stay-at-home mom, Jen Pezzolla, who got inspired while trying to tame her little one’s mohawk! Jen makes every single hair clip by hand, so you can be assured you’re getting the highest quality product."

"Finally a hair barrette that stays in my girls’ ultra fine hair for more than five minutes” is exactly what I thought after trying
t a i a hair clips. Not only are these barrettes stylish, they come with a piece of Velcro attached to the inside of each barrette that ensures it will stay in place.
Both of my girls have been challenged in the hair department, especially my oldest who has never really had a full haircut and will turn four this month. When I was asked to try this product it was kind of humorous knowing the hair struggles we go through in my home. I was pleasantly surprised though at how well the barrettes stayed in. The patterns in the fabrics used to make the barrettes are ultra cute and trendy. There is also a tiny little rhinestone on some of the barrettes. My oldest loves wearing the jeweled barrettes. She says she feels like Cinderella.
I would definitely recommend t a i a hair clips to any mother of a little girl. Especially those of you that have a hair challenged daughter. Sometimes I wish I could get away with wearing them too."

 December 18, 2007 -  first impressions

"I'm always on the search for cute hair... or rather, head accessories for baby L. What hair she does have is uber fine and light (so she looks bald). I was beginning to think headbands and hats would be my only option. And, although they can be cute, I was left wanting for something more. Then, taia hair clips came along.
Simple. Sophisticated. And downright cute.
Each hairclip is created with love by Jennifer Pezzolla, a fellow stay at home mom. They are safe and functional. A velcro lining insures that they won't slip
out of even the finest baby hair.
Finally...something that won't hurt my daughter but looks oh-so cute...."

"I have completely fallen for Taia hair clip's modern and simple handmade hair clips. They are such a fun way to complete any look and add a little sass and style to your daughter's wardrobe.
